I bought these stirrups for my daughter as she is learning how to ride. I have been looking for a stirrup like this for over 12 months and couldn't find one that gave me the confidence in their ability to work and keep my daughter safe. I was at a Double Dan clinic and Pia had them for sale, as soon as I was shown how they work that was it I bought them. I have put them on my daughters stock saddle, they look really cool ( even my daughter thinks they look good), fit well and she has no trouble riding or mounting and dismounting in them. As yet we haven't had a fall so haven't truly tested that part of the stirrup and really I don't want to but I'm sure they will do exactly as described. I have no hesitation in recommending these to any one who wants that added safety in their day to day riding.
